Victor Wembanyama’s sister Eve is on cloud nine after the Frenchman was selected by the Spurs with the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft on Thursday.
Eve, who is also a basketball player in France, shared a collage of candid photos with their family at the draft, which took place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, as well as the private afterparty.Eve gained thousands of Instagram followers after sheAfter Wembanyama’s emotional interview with ESPN, which included heartfelt praise from Eve, she went from 13,000 followers to upwards of 22,000 overnight.
The curly-haired brunette documented the family’s New York adventures on social media leading up to the draft. Wembanyama’s siblings, including his 16-year-old brother Oscar, who also plays basketball, were overcome with emotion while sitting with him during an interview with ESPN’s Monica McNutt.“We’re all so proud.
