A 17-year-old from Watford was sentenced by Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on May 19 after he admitted to taking a Lexus in Enfield on January 27 without the consent of the owner.
A charge of possessing a knife in a public place on the same day had been dismissed at an earlier hearing. He was subject to a conditional discharge and a youth rehabilitation order at the time, having previously been found guilty of other offences including knife possession and handling stolen goods.
A youth rehabilitation order was made, requiring him to comply with electronic monitoring for three months and attend appointments for six months.
