Paxton has deep roots in Collin County, leading his own law firm for 14 years in McKinney.
“Honestly, I don’t think it has anything to do with his guilt or innocence. It’s the process that has been done. The last two times we had someone impeached in the Texas House, they took months going through the process,” George said. “If he’s being impeached, then please use the process properly.”
He said House members should be able to question witnesses and have the witnesses under oath, and members should have more time to go over evidence.
