Vaughan mayor calls for memorial to honour 5 victims of fatal condo shooting

Plans are in the works to create a memorial for five people who were shot and killed in a Vaughan condo.

“Like so many Vaughan residents, I was shaken by the unspeakable tragedy in our community last December, which claimed the lives of five people and left another in serious condition,” Del Duca said in a statement. “Flags at City of Vaughan facilities were lowered to half-mast in honour of the victims, and in the days following the shooting, we held a candlelight vigil at City Hall.”
