The script for Koostachin’s feature film debut was developed through the WFF Screenwriters Lab. Asivak’s turn in Run, Woman, Run landed him the Star to Watch honour at last year’s WFF. Asivak has appeared in television series Cardinal, Letterkenny and the films Red Snow and Montana Story.

The 10 Canadians to Watch honourees are profiled in Variety and will be celebrated at WFF with a conversation hosted by Michael Schneider, Variety’s TV editor and producer, on Dec. 3, 2022 at noon at Maury Young Arts Centre.
