Vanderbijlpark drive-by shooting: Ex-husband and three others arrested for woman's murder
Police have arrested four people linked to the murder of a 33-year-old woman who was shot and killed in Vanderbijlpark on Friday morning.
A task team established to investigate the murder of a woman who was shot and killed on Friday morning has arrested four suspects, among them her ex-husband. Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo said police arrested four suspects after a 33-year-old woman was shot and killed while driving in Vanderbijlpark.
"On Friday, at approximately 8am, police responded to a of a shooting incident on Hendrik van Eck Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark. On their arrival at the scene, police found the woman, who was in the driver's seat of a Nissan NP200 bakkie, with multiple bullet wounds on her body. Private school's 'Shoot a Lion' campaign condemned by NSPCAThe National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) found the 'Shoot a Lion' campaign offered by a private school in the Northern Cape “appalling and deeply concerning”.
