“The burning of fossil fuels has led to increasing GHGs within the atmosphere,” said Green Party Coun. Adriane Carr, who was behind the motion. “That is directly responsible for climate change. That record is indisputable.” The motion is in response to the Sue Big Oil campaign launched by two local groups, West Coast Environmental Law and Georgia Strait Alliance.
