No teams went down in value over the past year, though the Vancouver Canucks and the Seattle Kraken only rose in value by three per cent — that was the smallest hike among all teams.According to Sportico, its valuation team looks at publicly available financial information as well as interviews with “those knowledgeable of team finances, including nine sports bankers and lawyers who actively work on NHL transactions.
