Latest Liverpool news and gossip as Olympic legend Usain Bolt has sent a message to the Reds about the Premier League title
Olympic legend Usain Bolt has outlined why he "can't have" Liverpool win a Premier League title before Manchester United, and admitted he'd rather see Manchester City win the league than Arne Slot's side.
Liverpool still managed to finish the campaign with a major trophy added to their collection. The Reds won the Carabao Cup back in February for the 10th time in the club's illustrious history. Bolt, an avid Man United supporter, has explained why he was not displeased to see Man City win the title compared to Liverpool and Arsenal. The eight-time Olympic gold medalist went on to give a blunt reason why he does not want to see the Reds win the title.
The Premier League fixtures will be confirmed later this month before Slot takes charge of Liverpool's pre-season preparations. The Reds will travel to the United States next month for three friendly matches against Real Betis, Arsenal and Man United before the start of the new campaign.
