Freya McGrory was last seen leaving her house in the town at around 11am on Sunday, June 9. Officers are growing concerned for the welfare of the 15-year-old and have asked for the public's assistance in tracing her.

Freya is described as being 5ft 2in, of slim build with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue shorts and black Crocs. The schoolgirl is known to travel throughout Lanarkshire and possibly the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas. Anyone who may have seen Freya since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2971 of 09/06/24.
