In another round of URC derbies to look forward to this weekend, here are the kick off times for the Lions-Sharks and Bulls-Stormers games.
After just one URC game this past weekend, the competition heads back into a full round of action, and another set of SA derbies will certainly draw interest on South African shores as the Lions host the Sharks before the Bulls tackle the Stormers.
Saturday’s clash between the Lions and Sharks at Ellis Park will kick off at 14:30, and will be followed almost immediately by the Bulls-Stormers blockbuster at 17:00. Meanwhile, in the only game this past weekend, the Bulls returned to winning ways in a competitive URC derby against their Gauteng neighbours the Lions in Pretoria on Saturday, with the current SA Shield holder building on a 17-14 halftime lead to walk away with a rewarding 31-19 bonus-point win.
The bonus point win saw the Bulls move to 40 log points to consolidate their third place on the URC table behind the Glasgow Warriors and log-leaders Leinster after 11 matches.placed Stormers by one point and the eighth-placed Scarlets by four points – although the Joburg outfit have a game in hand after playing only 10 matches to date.The digital Trusted Tour Operator Scheme visa initiative is bearing fruit with the first visitors from China arriving in South Africa.
