A SIMPLE Google search turns up a plethora of online resources for travelers seeking African safari camps.

But you usually had to rely on word-of-mouth recommendations when heading, pre- or post-safari, to the continent’s larger cities—from the Namibian capital of Windhoek to Tanzania’s Dar es Salaam.
