The updated ID.3 is one of 10 new or refreshed electric cars VW will launch by 2026.
Volkswagen has introduced an update to the first member of its ID family of electric vehicles, the ID.3.
There's revised styling on the outside, including a new front fascia with side curtains that bring a sportier look to the vehicle and also claimed to improve aerodynamic efficiency. At the rear, the tailights now extend further into the center of the hatch. There's also the new olive green color as shown here.
No changes have been announced for the powertrains. Depending on the market, the ID.3 is currently offered with 45-, 58-, or 77-kwh battery options, and a single motor at the rear rated at 205 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque. There are rumors of a dual-motor all-wheel-drive option being added at a later date.
