Update issued after police lock down Glasgow Aitkenhead Road
Following reports of major flooding, the major Southside road was locked down by police on Friday night.
has issued an update, writing that the flooding was resolved just before 10pm on Friday night and Aitkenhead Road is fully reopened to traffic.the junction of Aitkenhead Road at Curtis Avenue was closed to traffic by police as heavy rainfall caused heavy flooding.The road closure was accompanied by the notice of a planned Southside power blackout of the G41 and G42 postcodes
