Firefighters contained a blaze that damaged two vacant homes Monday afternoon in San Jose's Buena Vista neighborhood.
The blaze was reported about noon, initially on the 300 block of South Buena Vista Avenue.
The address was later revised to an adjacent property in the 1500 block of West San Carlos Street, according to San Jose Fire Department officials. Both properties that were damaged are unoccupied. No injuries were reported in the blaze. The fire was under investigation.
