Calendar for South Region coverage area for 4/13
Jazz and swing dance enthusiasts will take to the dance floor during Alvin Community College's 22nd annual Evening of Big Band Music on April 23. The event will start with the Big Swing Jazz Orchestra at 7 p.m. in the Nolan Ryan Center. There will also be a silent auction. Proceeds go to ACC's music department. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and are available at www.alvincollege.edu and also will be sold at the door. Info: 281-756-3600.
