Fourth Center to join three others already on the University of Arizona campus through nearly $6M program.

TUCSON, Ariz. — The University of Arizona says it will be establishing a new Center for East Asian Studies, with $5.9 million in funding coming from a federal Title VI grant.

This is the fourth center for cultural teachings following the Center for Latin American Studies, Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Center for Educational Resources in Culture, Language and Literacy. . @uarizona will establish a new Center for East Asian Studies that will join three other longstanding international centers on campus. Funding from the Title VI grant, as part of the U.S. Department of Education, is to be used for support in teaching, research and outreach programs.
