But at this present moment, there are students whose families have zero rand in their bank accounts at the end of the month as a result.
"And you celebrate the fact that only seven institutions are protesting and only one TVET is protesting. If there's a protest it means there's something fundamentally wrong with the way higher education is structured at this moment in time."
