Professor Dirk Kotzé from the University of South Africa questions Jacob Zuma's claims of vote rigging. Zuma stated he has proof of vote theft but faces explaining the MK party's underperformance in recent elections.
Professor Dirk Kotzé from the University of South Africa (Unisa) has questioned the evidence of vote rigging claimed by Jacob Zuma , the leader of the MK party. Zuma stated at a party rally in Johannesburg that he had solid proof against officials involved in vote theft. Professor Kotzé noted that Zuma faces the challenge of explaining his party's underperformance in the recent elections, which did not result in the expected two-thirds majority.
Kotzé believes it is unlikely for the MK party to achieve a two-thirds majority in the next general elections. He highlighted that the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) conducted the elections professionally with international observers
