A court heard how she used mobile phones she had smuggled into prison to communicate with him. Father-of-two Liam Smith, originally from Chorley, was shot in the face and then covered in acid after being lured outside his home in Wigan on November 24 last year. Rachel Fulstow, 37, who had met Mr Smith through dating app Tinder three years earlier, was convicted of his murder, as well as a charge of perverting the course of justice, on Wednesday following a trial.

Rashid Hussain ran a drugs line named 'Sniper' drugs line, dealing cocaine and heroin alongside his wife Szenm Asghar. Police said the couple enjoyed a 'luxurious lifestyle' from peddling drugs which bagged them more than £20,000 in cash, designer clothes worth almost £18,000, and a number of Rolex watches from their marital home. The couple even paid £3,000 for two cats.
