Picture: Facebook.“He then assisted driving the wounded and injured from the front line,” the touching Facebook tribute said.“As an experienced truck driver he felt his services could be utilised driving trucks helping people leave the country.

Mr O’Neill, who has been described as a"larrikin and always a battler" was a mining industry truck driver and usually spent up to half of the year in the Philippines with his two youngest kids.
