'Uncommon' cold front will drop San Antonio temps slightly and produce possible storms, NWS says
The cold front from a weather disturbance in the Great Lakes will only drop the temperature by a few degrees, but it also has the potential to produce scattered showers throughout the week, according to NWS.Although the National Weather Service is calling the cold front that moved through the San Antonio area on Monday morning weak, it will give the region some reprieve from triple-digit temperatures.

Precipitation chances fall to 20% overnight before rising slightly to 30% on Tuesday.Monday's high is expected to be 98. By Thursday and Friday, the NWS is predicting highs to be only in the low 90s if the moisture and unstable pattern stick around, Oaks said.
