Ukraine has claimed its first victories in the much-anticipated counter-offensive after liberating Russian-held villages, Kyiv officials said They said its troops have made advances on three villages in the south east of the country joeduggan1 reports
The villages that the Ukrainians have reportedly liberated are small, with combined populations of less than 2,000, but mark the largest advances since the counter-offensive was launched.
