Forecasters said ‘the drastic change to something milder is going to be pretty widespread’ across England and Wales.
The forecasting service has issued yellow weather warnings for rain across southern parts of England and south Wales from 6pm on Sunday to 6am on Tuesday.
“As a result their ability to cope with the rainfall may have been reduced, so that’s why we could see some greater impacts which is why the warning was issued.” “And then Tuesday, I think it’s going to be a little bit colder again compared to Monday. So the really mild day, Monday, is a flash in the pan if you will.
