There may be some travel disruption in April
The UK Foreign Office has updated its travel advice for people travelling to Portugal - with a warning issued over potential disruption in April.
Information on forest fires and the use of masks in Madeira and beach safety has also been modified. While travelling in Portugal, it's important to know that some destinations still have coronavirus restrictions in place.In Madeira, the regional health authority recommends the use of a face covering in medical facilities, retirement and nursing homes if you have been diagnosed with a respiratory illness.
Some parts of the country are already classified as high risk. Lastly, the Foreign Office has reminded people about the dangers of beaches and swimming.
