Minister of Employment and Labour Nomakhosazana Meth has announced the precautionary suspension of Unemployment Insurance Fund Commissioner Tebogo Maruping.
Suspended UIF Commissioner Teboho Maruping.Unemployment Insurance Fund Commissioner Tebogo Maruping has been suspended again, the Department of Labour has confirmed.placed Maruping on precautionary suspension on Friday after a briefing received from the Acting Director General, Viwe Mlenzana.
“I have further mandated the Acting DG to deal with all systematic and capacity challenges within the Department and its entities so that we can respond adequately to the unemployment challenges in the country,” Meth said. “I would like to assure the public that work is currently underway to respond adequately to such challenges.”The suspension of Maruping comes after disruptions to the uFiling platforms which has resulted in delays.
