In September, Diaz announced his intention to leave the MMA leader after fighting out his contract with a fourth-round submission win over Since then, he has officially entered free agency and is currently fielding offers ahead of his next fight which he has suggested will take place in the boxing ring.
After receiving a call out from Paul, Diaz took to social media to distance himself from the fight by suggesting he will sign for RIZIN by posting a picture of their logo.The Japanese fight promotion has been a major part of the post-fight career of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather who has fought five times since retiring.Mayweather has linked up with RIZIN twice previously, who he dropped three times and stopped inside one round – leaving the youngster in tears.
