It's about to undergo a multi-million pound transformation
The multi-million pound transformation of Burnley’s Newtown Mill into a major expansion of the University of Central Lancashire’s campus in the town has been approved by planners.
It follows the expansion of UCLan into nearby Sandygate Mill last year, accommodating a new campus library and student union space. The redevelopment of the mill in Burnley’s historic Weavers’ Triangle will create around 35,000 square feet of space for innovative teaching facilities, a business/enterprise zone, and new public spaces.
