An American woman who was snorkelling in Turks and Caicos had her foot bitten off in a shark attack.

The woman was transported to Cheshire Hall Medical Centre where she remains in serious condition, police said.that the woman, who has not been publicly named, was celebrating her graduation from Yale University when the attack happened.
