The search for a missing submersible vessel in the ocean near the wreckage of the Titanic has come to a tragic end.
On Thursday, the U.S. Coast Guard said that the vessel, Titan, had suffered a “catastrophic implosion.”On Thursday morning officials announced they had found a debris field near the wreckage of the Titanic.Rear Admiral John Mauger says a tail cone of the submersible and other debris from the vessel were found about 1,600 feet from the bow of the famous shipwreck.It’s not clear what caused the implosion.
