Two suspects to appear in court facing charges of murder of 33-year-old man in Tshififi Village

Two male suspects between the ages of 29 and 32 are expected to appear before Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court today, 31 October 2023 for murder.

The deceased and his friends were at the local tavern when four unknown suspects and one known suspect emerged and accused the victim of stealing a laptop. Two suspects stabbed the victim with a sharp object in the upper body and the victim managed to stand up and run away. One suspect was arrested at his residence in Tshififi Village on Sunday, 29 October 2023, and the second suspect was arrested after he handed himself in to the police station on Monday 30 October 2023, and both were charged with murder.
