Dlamini, who is rated second in the IBF ranking and the third-placed Kameda will vie for the mandatory position. The winner will challenge IBF featherweight title holder Luis López from Mexico. On Nathan’s radar were two fighters – former World Boxing Organisation lightweight flyweight title holder, Puerto Rican Jonathan González and Japanese Kenshiro Teraji.However, the proposed unification deals fell through because both fighters demanded more money to face the South African champion. Nathan did not share the figures they were demanding.
