Two people who shot and killed two police sergeants in separate incidents on Sunday are wanted by the Western Cape police:

in Site C at around 5:30pm when someone approached his vehicle and fired several shots. Although he was rushed to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. About half an hour later, an off-duty officer from the Nyanga department was shot at Mandela Park in a suspected robbery. ‘The two police officials were in the prime of their lives.
