Two people were briefly hospitalized Monday after a small chemical leak at a Ball Aerospace facility in Westminster.
The individuals were transported to the hospital for “nonurgent exposure care” and have since been discharged, Jackie Berger, a company spokesperson, wrote in an email.
The Westminster Fire Department characterized the chemical as a cleaning agent, saying the leak was isolated to one room. The Westminster facility, located at 9675 W. 108th Circle, was fully evacuated, Berger said, and cleanup was completed by 3 p.m. No property was destroyed.
