Two people detained after Cape Town cop shot at and wounded, third suspect at large
Kensington police arrested two suspects in connection with the shooting of an on-duty police officer in the early hours of Monday morning.
Two people have been detained and Western Cape police are on the hunt for a third in connection with a shooting in which an on-duty Kensington police station constable was wounded. Police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut said the constable and his colleague approached the three people on the corner of Lugmag Avenue and Drommedaris Road in Ysterplaat for questioning shortly after midnight on Monday.
