Two new car models are officially on sale in South Africa, and here’s what they offer.
The two Captur trim lines Renault offers are the Zen and Intens, the latter being the carmaker’s top-spec Captur model.
The range-topper also gets a larger 9-inch driver’s display and a 9.3-inch central touchscreen, while the Zen features a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and 7-inch infotainment system.TopAuto also noted that the Captur range receives one engine option, a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol block capable of producing 113kW and 270Nm.
Optional upgrades include a leather steering wheel, an electronic parking brake, front parking sensors, a power tailgate lock, 17-inch “Combra” wheels on the 125kW variant, front-seat heating, and 18-inch Amadora rims on the 154kW one, reported TopAuto. Both feature IQ.Light LED headlights, LED tail lights, a Harmon Kardon stereo, the Discover Media navigation system, “Cricket” leather seats, rear cross-traffic alert, park assist, front assist with autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, a 360-degree camera, driver fatigue detection, evasive steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and either black 18-inch Amadora or 20-inch Bendigo wheels.
