The total COVID-19 death count for the Sudbury public health jurisdiction is now at 168
Public Health Sudbury and Districts has reported two new COVID-19 related deaths that occurred sometime in the past two days. The health unit reported one new death on Monday, but did not report any new statistics on Tuesday.
This brings the total number of local COVID-related deaths to 168 since the pandemic was first declared back in March of 2020. There have now been nine deaths in the Sudbury jurisdiction since August 1, 2022.
