Police said the two men were walking through the complex to check on a woman when a person with a gun came out of an apartment and confronted them. At some point, the situation escalated and the gunman shot both men and then ran off.
SAN ANTONIO - Two men are recovering after being shot at a West Side apartment complex.
The shooting happened just after midnight on Tuesday at an apartment complex off Westward Drive near U.S. Highway 90. Police spent the night searching the area, but couldn't find the shooter. Investigators are saying that the victims are not giving a clear story of exactly what happened, describing the victim or what apartment they came out of.
