The former Shakespeare Street schoolhouse in Maryhill would be purchased by Maryhill Housing Association and used as supported accommodation. “New homes in Carmyle and Maryhill will be greatly welcomed and the capital receipts raised would be put to use delivering public services and infrastructure for the people of Glasgow.”
A council report stated the “land acquisition will also enable them to enhance the existing infrastructure to the subject site.”
