A tragic drowning incident occurred at the Camps Bay Tidal Pool in South Africa, resulting in the death of a 13-year-old girl and the hospitalization of her 12-year-old friend. The two girls, part of a group from Khayelitsha, were swimming when they were found unresponsive in the water. Lifeguards performed CPR and emergency services responded, airlifting the 13-year-old girl to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
