Brooklyn detectives have apprehended the suspects behind two separate deadly shootings that occurred earlier this year, the NYPD announced Sunday.
for allegedly gunning down a 53-year-old man in Bedford-StuyvesantAccording to law enforcement sources, Alfred Bent, 53, of Chauncey Street was shot to death in front of a brownstone on the 300 block of Decatur Street at about 11:25 p.m. on May 28.
Police said Bent and Hoyle had allegedly gotten into a dispute moments before the deadly shooting occurred. The motive for the argument was not disclosed.EMS rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.File photo/Lloyd Mitchell Detectives linked Hoyle to the homicide via a tip they received, law enforcement sources said. He was subsequently arrested on Oct. 28 for an unrelated domestic incident.
Following questioning, he was formally booked on murder and weapons possession charges for Bent’s slaying. He was ordered held without bail at his Oct. 30 arraignment in Kings County Criminal Court, according to
