Two and a Half Men stars Jon Cryer and April Bowlby have reunited as part of the SAG-AFTRA strike. Cryer played Alan Harper, one of the title roles of the long-running sitcom, and was the only actor to appear on all 262 episodes. Bowlby appeared opposite Cryer in 17 episodes as Kandi, who is introduced as a girlfriend for Charlie Harper before dating and eventually marrying Alan, though they quickly get divorced.

Cryer's post includes a picture of himself arm-in-arm with Bowlby. The caption reads "Alan and Kandi reunited many years later to BRING DOWN THE CORPORATE FATCATS!" This Two and a Half Men Reunion Was a Long Time Coming Bowlby and Cryer haven't properly reunited since Two and a Half Men went off the air in 2015, at least onscreen. The closest they got was during a "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover episode of the Arrowverse series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, on which Cryer appeared as the notorious DC supervillain Lex Luthor.
It is perhaps appropriate that the Two and a Half Men stars should pay tribute to two of their most iconic roles while on strike. The SAG-AFTRA strike, which sees union members striking and shutting down productions across the globe, is meant to remind studios of how important the labor of actors is to the future of the entertainment industry. By evoking their hit television series, they're reminding studios of how much power they have to draw audience attention and potential revenue.
