Twisted Metal season 2 needs a proper Raven.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Warning: This article contains spoilers for Twisted Metal season 1.

With Twisted Metal season 2 likely on the horizon, a proper version of Raven deserves to be added to the series. Based on the video game series of the same name, Twisted Metal has been met with great praise regarding its interpretations of the characters and their respective stories. In just one season alone, Twisted Metal has found room for a number of characters tied to the game, Raven included.

Played by Neve Campbell, Twisted Metal season 1's Raven differently greatly from the character's video game counterpart. This version of Raven looks and acts nothing like the one depicted in classic games like Twisted Metal: Dark and Twisted Metal: Black. This has received some degree of criticism, considering that this seemingly denies fans an opportunity to see Raven for what she was in the source material.

In stark contrast to Campbell's version, the original Raven is a 17-year-old high school student when she enters the demolition derby. She wears all black, frequently carrying a raven on her shoulder. Plus, she acts surly and jaded due to bullying from her classmates. She prefers to rebel against the systems in place rather than lead, let alone participate. After one of her friends dies due to a dangerous prank, Raven embarks down a dark path of revenge.
