Twin brothers Delontae, Mike Scott highlight San Antonio Brahmas’ pass rush
“Playing with my brother is something I’ve been missing,” Delontae said. “Especially when it’s your twin, it’s just different. We really feed off each other’s energy. We keep each other going, since we were little kids. We just love to compete. It's part of us.”
“For that to come to fruition, even if we’re out there on special teams, anything would be a blessing to look over and see 45,” Mike said. “Put on for the hood. We were Dallas boys, so that’s what we have to do.” Though Brahmas coach Hines Ward said he has no issue telling the twins apart, he opened training camp calling them by their jersey numbers to avoid any mix-ups.
Delontae said having Mike around for the daily grind makes practice more fun and less stressful, while Mike said he leans on his brother for help with reading offenses and formations, as well as his NFL experience on how to be a “true pro.”
