Truter reveals how he convinced Mokotjo to join Sekhukhune over Chiefs
POLOKWANE, SOUTH AFRICA - DECEMBER 30: Kamohelo Mokotjo of Sekhukhune United during the DStv Premiership match between Sekhukhune United and Kaizer Chiefs at Peter Mokaba Stadium on December 30, 2023 in Polokwane, South Africa.
Mokotjo was available as a free agent from November 2021 after he left Major League Soccer club Cincinnati. Truter, who was instrumental in Mokotjo joining Babina Noko instead of Amakhosi, says he was well aware in advance that the player, who was back in the country, had fitness issues and his promise to the Bafana Bafana midfielder to get him back to Europe gave him and Sekhukhune the advantage.
