Former President Donald Trump, during a campaign visit to Green Bay, Wisconsin Tuesday, promised Nov. 5 will become “Christian Visibility Day" if he is reelected.

The vow followed outrage over the Biden administration's proclamation of March 31 as "Transgender Day of Visibility" despite it falling on the same day as Easter Sunday this year. Trump told event attendees the move was disrespectful to Christians. “What the h--- was Biden thinking when he declared Easter Sunday to be 'Trans Visibility Day?' Such total disrespect to Christians, and Nov. 5 is going to be called something else," Trump said. "You know what it's going to be called? 'Christian Visibility Day,' when Christians turn out in numbers that nobody has ever seen before."

Among those criticizing Biden for the proclamation was Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. While speaking at a press conference in Miami Monday, DeSantis accused the decision of being left up to Biden’s “20-something-year-old staffers.”. “Which raises the question: Either he’s not being honest with the public or he really didn’t know what was going on.
