President Donald Trump on Saturday advocated for A$AP Rocky's release from Swedish custody in a call with Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, saying he "personally" vouched for the New York rapper.
A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was arrested after voluntarily going to the police in Stockholm for questioning following an altercation three weeks ago during a music festival.of the arrest.
