US President Donald Trump issues a Twitter invitation to North Korea’s Kim Jong-un to meet him at the demilitarised zone

"We'll be there and I just put out a feeler because I don't know where he is right now. He may not be in North Korea," he said. "We see it as a very interesting suggestion, but we have not received an official proposal in this regard," Choe Son-ui, North Korea's first vice-minister of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, North Korea's KCNA state media reported.
Both sides had agreed to establish new relations and work towards denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula. Trump told reporters on Saturday Kim had sent him a birthday card and Trump sent him a letter in return.
