Former President Donald Trump announced Sunday night that he will not attend the upcoming Republican presidential debate.
Trump cited a recent poll that put him far ahead of his other opponents in the 2024 Republican primary race. The former president is competing against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott , and business entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, among others, for the Republican party's nomination for the 2024 election.
