Trump's reelection campaign plans to sue the New York Times for libel
President Donald Trump has declared the press to be the"enemy of the people" for doing its job by holding him accountable for his actions. Now, his supporters hope to make media companies pay the price for not bending to his will.
"They had an overarching deal: the quid of help in the campaign against Hillary Clinton for the quo of a new pro-Russian foreign policy, starting with relief from the Obama administration's burdensome economic sanctions," FormerExecutive Editor Max Frankel wrote."The Trumpites knew about the quid and held out the prospect of the quo.
